This article has been inspired by previous work by LC Audio, Leach and Nelson Pass. Patrick was intrigued by the operation of the Leach circuit as a current conveyor and designed several circuits, based on jFETs, that worked as CC's. Being able to delete all biasing arrangements, and using a floating DC source led to a class of IV converters that couple deceptive simplicity with very high performance. This is a nice circuit to try out as a constrcution project, and Patrick plans to offer kits of PCBs and jFETs through his account at diyaudio.com.
