A Poor Man's Measurement Amplifier
Every audio designer finds himself eventually in the situation that he needs a very low noise preamplifier to interface between the tiny circuit signals and his test equipment. Such an amplifier should ideally be perfectly linear, very wideband and noiseless. Burkhard Vogel gets very close with his PMMA. This article presents a design ready to be build, with a thorough theoretical analysis supported by MathCad graphs as well as prototype measurements.
