Richard Mann is Associate Professor in the David Cheriton School of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. Mann's research interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision and Perception.
Audio and sound has always been a passion. In 2013, Dr. Mann changed his research and teaching focus to computer audio. For the last three years, he has been involved in research on infrasound produced by Industrial Wind Turbines with an objective of providing tools for future studies on possible related health effects.
