Dave Kimber is a Londoner who has been an audio and radio hobbyist for about 40 years. When listening to FM radio the only thing he didn’t make himself is the antenna.

After over 20 years of programming, training and consultancy he wanted a change so went back to university and developed a new theoretical analysis of the Class E power amplifier. He then had a couple of years as a post-doc researcher, looking at dielectric measurement instrumentation.
He has had a three-part article on the complementary feedback pair published in Wireless World, and edited “RF Components and Circuits” by Joe Carr (his last UK-published book).
