Guido Tent grew up in a small city near Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where his father was responsible for picture tube quality control at the famous Eindhoven Philips plant. That environment must have heavily influenced him: he studied analog electronics including EMC and RF as major subjects, and graduated on the linearity of directly heated triodes. After graduating he worked for various companies before joining Philips in 1996. He left in 2005 to dedicate himself fulltime to the company he founded a year earlier, Tentlabs. In the same year he co-founded Grimm audio. In his spare time he works out at the fitness room, plays indoor soccer and listens to music. Guido also enjoys relaxing with friends and family, preferable while having a great dinner.
