Stochino Giovanni

Stochino Giovanni Giovanni Stochino received the Laurea degree (summa cum laude) in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1975.   He had a long and rewarding career in the Ericsson R&D organization, where he was mainly involved in the design of analog and digital Access and Transmission Systems. After leaving Ericsson in 2009, Giovanni has mainly been engaged in consulting activities for the professional audio industry. His main professional as well as personal interests are in the fields of precision and high speed analog electronics, as well as in low voltage discrete and monolithic amplifier architectures. As an inveterate audio enthusiast since his university days, he assiduously conducts studies and experiments on analog technologies for audio applications, and more specifically on the design and development of novel solutions for high performance linear audio power amplifiers. He has authored/co-authored about fifty technical publications in the international literature and holds 10 patents, some of them in the audio technology field. Giovanni Stochino is a member of IEEE and AES.
